Information for New Mexico
In 2007 the state Environmental Improvement Board approved rules requiring clean up of meth labs with a 1.0ug/100cm² clearance level. However, these rules were removed and they now refer contractors to the clean up guidelines for Minnesota and the sampling guidelines for Washington. Contractors must still submit work plans and final reports to New Mexico Environment Department for approval. Check with local city and county offices for additional regulations.
