Currently the Kansas Department of Health and Environment only provides technical advice and clean up guidance through information posted on the website. There posted guidelines do post cleaning standards of 1.5ug/100cm². Guidelines suggest airing out the structure, removing porous materials, washing and rinsing all surfaces, cleaning HVAC system, flush plumbing traps, and post testing. Once the cleaning standards have been met (though post testing isn’t required) they suggest repainting with an oil-based paint.
